Jay Whinnery, Chief Fulfillment Driver

Jay was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska where he attended school through graduation from the University of Nebraska.  From there he received a B/S in Journalism with an English Literature Minor.

On Graduation, he was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a Communications Consultant which involved contacting local businesses regarding their commercial needs.

After 3 ½ years, he moved to Southern California where he entered law enforcement, performing typical duties such as Patrol, Detectives, CSI Officer, Planning/Research and Warrants Supervisor.  While there he received an Associate’s (AA) Degree from Santa Barbara City College in Police Science.

Upon retirement 24 years later, he and his wife Joan moved to Grand Junction where he was employed by the US Forest Service and a medical supply company for a total of 10 years.  Jay is married to the former Joan Begier, a typical S. California “Dish” and has three daughters and six (count ‘em) grand kids.  Jay’s spare time involves running, working out, and reading about military history.

In 2006, Jay became an employee of Sanitary Supply Corp as a product Delivery Driver.  The enjoyment of Jays job is evident though his devotion in maintaining happy and fulfilled customer relations.  Friendly and efficient relationships with customer contacts are the hallmarks of Jay’s customer relations abilities along with the timely deliveries of fine products.
