Service Department Manager

Sanitary Supply Corp sells and services the leading brands of building maintenance equipment in our industry.

From a riding floor scrubber, to an upright vacuum our service department handles a large spectrum of equipment.  We want every customer experience to be "world class".  In order to provide "world class service" we need great people and a great team.

Sanitary Supply Corp, Inc Service Department is growing, we are interviewing for a service technician or apprentice to our service manager.   Sanitary Supply Corp is the number One Service center in Colorado for Janitorial Equipment.

Pay and Benefits:

Skills, abilities, personality and knowledge required:
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Excellent Verbal Communications, Writing and Grammar Skills.
  • Familiar with Computer Operating Systems:  Windows / Android.
  • Computer Skills Required:  Send / Receive Emails, Search using wildcards and partial matches.
  • Troubleshooting electrical motors, pumps, valves, wiring and parts diagrams.
  • Attention to detail- parts identification
  • Highly Organized with Time management skills
  • Hand eye coordination 
  • Ability to listen, learn and follow direction
  • Determination to succeed
Job Descriptions:
  • Ordering and Receiving equipment parts into service department inventory
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment for service repairs. Communicating repairs and costs to customers.
  • Providing written estimates to customer for work to be performed including parts, labor, shipping or travel costs.
  • Creating and Maintaining Work Tickets, Parts Orders, Documenting Repairs, and everything related to providing excellent customer experience.
  • Instructions to customers of repairs completed.
  • Offer solutions for additional services, service contracts, and providing options for purchasing new equipment.
  • Sell parts and supplies as required.
Level and Pay is based upon Experience:
  • Entry Level Service Apprentice.
    • Perform Equipment Functional Checks.
    • Learn Troubleshooting Steps.
    • Parts identification, lookup, ordering.
    • Writing Sales Order Estimates.
    • Working with Cases and customer communications.
    • Perform Service with Supervision at our location and customers job sites.
    • Prep Equipment to be returned to customer.
  • Service Technician.
    • Apprentice +
    • Perform Service with little need for supervision, just resources.
    • Create Estimates and Cases unsupervised.
    • Communication with customers.
    • Order Parts.
  • Manager
    • Apprentice+, Service Technician.
    • Ability to work unsupervised.
    • Foster and Win new work.
    • Work directly with customers in the management and training of their equipment.
Safety of all personnel and quality of work is of paramount concern.
  • Applicants must pass a background check with NO Prior history.
  • Clean driving record required, you will be operating company vehicles.
  • We are a Drug and Alcohol Free workplace.  You will be required to take and pass a Drug and Alcohol Test prior to employment.  Testing also occurs at Random, Post Incident, and For Cause.  Refusal to take any test is interpreted as a failure, and is immediate grounds for termination.
