The Customer Account Manager is someone who works hard, is passionate about sales, enjoys helping and supporting customers, is self-motivated, and driven to perfection. In brief, you will partake in industry leading, concierge level customer service by establishing long term customer relationships through consistent, authentic and personalized communication. You will be handling 100+ customer contacts per day; to discuss new orders, ensure proper delivery of shipments, and develop new/maintain existing customer relationships.

  • Perform 100+ outbound contacts each day - phone and email communications
  • Build and manage your customer book of business to 3,000+ customers and  ensure every customer is being handled with tremendous service and prompt follow-through
  • Maintain authentic and genuine communication, leverage your personality to connect with customers in a meaningful way
  • Assist the customers of other Team Member who may be out of the office or assisting other customers
  • Research to find ideal product for customers unique needs, explain to customers the concepts, benefits and specifications of the products we sell
  • Obtain in depth product knowledge within the first 30 days of joining the team, maintain that knowledge by attending training clinics, writing reviews and contributing content
  • Participate in ongoing procedural and product training sessions to ensure your sales and system knowledge is second to none
  • Provide customer feedback to internal parties so Sanitary Supply Corp can continually improve the customer experience

Other Day to Day Tasks:

  • Create accurate sales orders through our inventory software. 
  • Communicating and Documenting communication through CRM program


  • Outgoing, friendly and a positive attitude.  Able to overcome problems and negativity.
  • Able to motivate others through dynamic personality and self confidence.
  • Self Starting and able to make quick decisions and above average problem solving skills.
  • Be able to look at big picture with regards to the company and Team success.
  • Be thorough in completing tasks. Must have meticulous, detailed and highly organized work performance.
  • Professional, well spoken, knowledgeable and articulate. Poor grammar will not be accepted in verbal or written skills.
  • Professional and strong leadership role is needed for this position. Manner and dress attire must be professional.


  • Confidence with computers and learning new computer programs. This skill will be tested prior to being hired. Must know more than the basics of spreadsheets, Microsoft programs, etc.
  • Pleasing and professional telephone speaking voice. This skill will be evaluated during a telephone interview.
  • Managing many tasks simultaneously and resolving issues promptly and excellent follow-through organization.
  • Ability to learn and function independently as well as part of the team. You will be expected to lead and organize team meetings.
  • Persons having active employment in the past 6 months will be considered first in the evaluation process


  • The base pay for this position is related to the level of responsibility and experience the applicant.  Hourly wages can range from $12 per hour to $18 per hour + commissions.  Normal work week is 40 hours.
  • Advancement will depend upon job performance, skills learned and applied, attitude, and extra responsibilities taken on.


  • Applicants must pass a background check.
