Professional Skills Training Programs

Cleaning and Maintenance Professionals have to stay at the forefront of knowledge.  Owners and Supervisors understand the value of a properly trained team member with the credentials to show for it!  Upon successful completion of a level, students are issued credentials.

All Cleaning and Maintenance Professionals can benefit.  Most customers start with Safety and Compliance Programs such as Bloodborne Pathogens, and Hazard Communications.  This gets compliance documented and kicks off the Professional Skills Training Program on a strong foundation of safety.

Let us help take the mystery out of Carpet Cleaning, Hard Floor Care, and Cleaning Chemistry!

Mark the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9am!  That's when we have a class at our facility in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Class Schedule and Registration here.

We can also tailor training to meet your needs.  Contact US! and let's get started building a Professional Skills Training Program for you.

Related Modules Description
How Important Are You? Don't overlook the cleaning staff; without the cleaning staff, no facility could operate for very long.
Cleaning Science The science behind the cleaning; using scientific principles, not tradition or memory to determine options and to make sound cleaning choices is a step towards working smarter, not harder.
Cleaning Products and Applications Product selection based on science, not on memorization through tedious repetition: Selecting the right product for the task, the first time, every time begins with an understanding of the relationship of soils and products.
Cleaning Processes and Procedures Procedures build processes: The process of cleaning a building begins with the procedures used to clean individual surfaces.
Automated Equipment Safety Accident prevention: Using equipment is a must in today's economy; how to use it safely.

 Level 2:  Intermediate
Level 2 Intermediate training covers routine floor care & renovation for carpet, finished floors, non-finished floors, & specialty floors. This section also provides training modules for cleaning equipment use and care.

Core Modules Description
Routine Carpet Care Keeping carpet looking as new as possible for as long as possible is the goal of this module.
Routine Finished Floor Care Maintain the finish, not the floor. Finish protects flooring. Correct maintenance of the floor finish helps to get the maximum life out of any flooring while keeping up appearance.
Routine Non-Finished Floor Care Not all floors are finished: Unfinished floors have some unique maintenance requirements to keep them looking good and performing safely.
Routine Specialty Floor Care
Special care for special flooring: Specialty flooring has unique maintenance requirements and performance characteristics. Keep them at their peak performance and appearance.

 Related Modules Description
Renovating Carpeted Floors Deep cleaning carpeting: Carpeting has unique cleaning requirements. Not only can incorrect cleaning lead to premature replacement costs, it can impact the health of building occupants.
Renovating Finished Floors Refinishing finished floors: Few projects have a greater impact on the budget when done incorrectly. Done correctly, floor refinishing becomes more of a routine task instead of a complicated, time consuming, and expensive project.
Carpet Cleaning Equipment Getting the most from automation: ‘Doing more with less’ begins with knowing how to make the best utilization of cleaning equipment and maintaining it correctly to minimize down time.
Hard Surface Floor Equipment
Getting the most from automation: ‘Doing more with less’ begins with knowing how to make the best utilization of cleaning equipment and maintaining it correctly to minimize down time.

Level 3:  Advanced
Level 3 makes broader connections from the perspective of maintaining a competitive edge.  Cleaning building surfaces and assets, cleaning by the numbers (time is money), cleaning for first impressions and what makes a green cleaning program.

Core Modules Description
Cleaning Surfaces and Assets Cleaning surfaces by type: Training cleaning personnel to clean individual assets is an exercise in memory. Training them to clean by surface types enables them to apply principles of cleaning broadly and significantly shortens the training curve.
Cleaning By The Numbers Time is money: Cleaning personnel who understand how 'time per task' affects the bottom line are able to see the big picture, and are prepared to help keep the bottom line viable.
Cleaning For First Impressions Creating favorable first impressions: In the short amount of time it takes a visitor to pull in from the street and enter the front door, a first impression of an entire organization forms. Making this a favorable impression should be everyone's goal.
Green Cleaning
What makes a Green Program? Environmental considerations aside, green cleaning programs affect the bottom line in many ways. Green programs consume less, and are inherently more efficient while making less of an impact on the environment.
